Coastal Fire Centre lifts open fire ban

All open fires are once again allowed in the Coastal Fire Centre Region.

Fire Information Officer Donna MacPherson says the fall weather has lowered the fire danger rating. She says there’s been a recent string of wet weather, which gives trees the opportunity to soak the water up.

MacPherson says fireworks, burn barrels, and sky lanterns are also allowed.
