Mounties reminding residents to keep car doors locked

The Comox Valley RCMP is again reminding residents to make sure their vehicles are locked and personal items are secured. Constable Rob Gardner says they’re still receiving reports of items being stolen from cars in the Comox Valley.

Gardner says that sometimes there’s a perception that the small size of the Valley means there’s less of a chance for items to be taken – but he reminds residents that no matter where you are, it’s important to keep your valuables secured.

Gardner says the RCMP is also reminding residents to keep an eye out for suspicious activity in their neighborhood and to report any suspicious behavior to the RCMP.
