The Baynes Sound Connector will be pulled from service next month for some warranty work.
Vice President of Engineering with BC Ferries, Mark Wilson, says it’s a chance to get some small work done while the vessel is still under it’s one-year warranty. Wilson says it’s mainly aesthetic work and fixing up any minor defects.
The work will be taking place over four weeks in late October and early November. The MV Quinitsa will be put back on the route while the repairs are underway.
