The BC Liberal Party has its candidate for the next provincial election in Courtenay – Comox.
Former 19 Wing Base Commander Jim Benninger won the nomination vote on the weekend. He says there are several key issues in the region, including seniors issues and the future of St. Joseph’s Hospital.
The NDP is in the candidate selection process, with several individuals running for the nomination.
The next provincial election takes place in May of next year.
