The city of Courtenay’s Complete Streets Project is moving along. Mayor Larry Jangula says there have been 5 design options proposed to the city for work to be done between Fitzgerald and Menzies Avenue.
Jangula says council has shown support towards one that would help benefit cyclists.
Jangula adds they will also make sure to accommodate local businesses with whichever design is chosen.
Jangula says the city will bring all 5 options to the public for further community feedback before moving forward on the design process.
