Work to done along Dingwall Road in Courtenay

Commuters who use Dingwall Road are being advised to use a different route starting Tuesday, October 11th.

Manager of Transportation and Utilities for the City of Courtenay, Craig Perry, says water main replacement will begin between McLaughlin Drive and  Western Road.

He says drivers will be able to get through, but it’s a good idea to use an alternate route if you can.

He notes that most of the work will be done within a single lane – the south-side of Dingwall Road.

Perry says the work is expected to take about 6 weeks.
