North Island College’s Aboriginal Education Advisory Council has unveiled a new logo to welcome aboriginal students to the college.
Council Chair Fran Prince says they get a lot of feedback from students about how the initiatives of the council help them with their educational journey.
Prince says the logo features the Raven, representing creation and transformation, and the Eagle, representing leadership, status, power, peace and friendship.
