Seniors Ride the Bus Day

Seniors are invited out today (Saturday, October 22) to try out transit in the Comox Valley.

Vince Van Tongeren with the Comox Valley Regional District says the goal is to allow seniors to try out transit and learn more about the system. He notes transportation is an important issue for seniors, and Seniors Ride the Bus Day will help address that.

Van Tongeren says the event will run from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at three locations:
The Comox Mall, the Driftwood Mall and the Courtenay downtown transit exchange.
