Residents in the Comox Valley are being advised of heavy rainfall in the region.
Meteorologist Alyssa Charbonneau says the heaviest rains are expected to come in on Tuesday. She says we may be seeing up to 20 millimetres of rain on Monday and another 5 to 10 later tonight.
Charbonneau says the majority of the rain will be concentrated on the Northern parts of Vancouver Island and the West side of the region.
Charbonneau notes that there will likely be 30 millimetres to more than 100 millimetres across the Island.
