Dab & Donate to Mental Health

A new event has been set up to raise funds for mental health resources in the community.

Dab and Donate to Mental Health is a joint initiative between the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation and the Avalanche Bar and Grill in downtown Courtenay.

Healthcare Foundation spokesperson Katie Maximick says one in four people in the Comox Valley suffer from some form of mental illness.

Avalanche owner Devin Moldenhauer says they’ve had an incredible response from both customers and businesses interested in supporting the event.

Dab and Donate will be held monthly, with the next one taking place on Tuesday night, November 15th.
