BC Hydro advising caution around Puntledge River

BC Hydro is warning residents to be cautious around the Puntledge River for the next few days.

Spokesperson Stephen Watson says the watershed received more than a metre of rain since the beginning of October – with half of that falling since November 1st.

Watson says BC Hydro will continue spilling water this week, so people are urged to continue to use caution around the river. However, he says while there is more rain in the forecast, it will not be as significant as what we saw with the recent series of storms.
