The break-in happened in the Comox area earlier this month, on November 13th.

Police say the investigation revealed it was not a random incident and 2 men were arrested in connection with the break-in.

A 19-year-old from Comox and a 23-year-old from Courtenay are facing charges including robbery with a firearm, forcible confinement, assault, and uttering threats.

The 19-year-old is also charged with trafficking cocaine. They are being held in custody until their next court appearance, later this week
