The Immigrant Welcome Centre is starting a project aimed at raising awareness of programs and services in the Comox Valley and Campbell River regions.
Project coordinator Jorgina Little says one of the gaps that has been identified by non-profits is a lack of awareness about the services and supports that are available. Little says they are holding workshops this week to bring agencies together to discuss some possible solutions.
The Comox Valley workshop is taking place Tuesday, with the Campbell River event on Friday.
