Work is moving forward on the decommissioning of the Comox Valley landfill.
Senior Manager James Mathers says the new engineered landfill is now 80% complete. Mathers says the are working on completing the liner system, which they are hoping to have done by the end of this month.
Mathers says the target is to have the new landfill commissioned in mid-2017.
