The Canadian Postal Workers Union has ratified a tentative deal with the nation’s postal service.
Negotiations between Canada Post and the union stalled over the summer, resulting in customers and businesses across the country bracing for labour disruptions.
A tentative deal was reached at the end of the summer.
A union rep noted that while the deal has been ratified, there was still work to do in some areas where not much progress was made.

Because of the lengthy negotiations, both sides are expected back at the table next summer.
