A huge turnout in Golden BC at a Celebration of Life for well liked and highly respected former Cumberland Fire Chief Ken McClure. Comox Fire Chief Gord Schreiner was among a large contingent of BC firefighters, and fire chiefs, attending the weekend service.
Schreiner says it was an emotional day for him, adding he had known McClure since they were both young boys growing up in the Comox Valley.
Ken McClure recently suffered a massive heart attack, passing away the day before he would turn 56.
