In Powell River, three local residents are about to gain some work experience, in helping Inclusion Powell River celebrate their 60th anniversary. Comox Valley MLA, Minister of Social Development and Innovation Don MacRae says 65-thousand dollars has been set aside in Job Creation Partnership funding.
The trio on board that work experience program will help deliver ten special events over 25 weeks to help the Powell River society celebrate six decades of helping people with developmental disabilities. October is Community Living Month.
