BC Ferries passengers will be able to access closed car decks for a while longer.
The company has confirmed its plans to implement Transport Canada regulations to ban passengers from the car decks for safety reasons, but now says the proposal has been put on hold.
Spokesperson Deborah Marshall says they are working with Transport Canada to resolve outstanding details. There is no confirmation as to when the new policy may be implemented.
