Habitat for Humanity is gearing up for its next build in the Comox Valley.
The organization has purchased an acre of land on Lake Trail Road, on which it will build 5 duplexes.
Executive Director Pat McKenna says they’ve also gone through the qualification process to select the families who will purchase the homes.
McKenna says they are currently preparing their development permit application and are hoping to begin building in the fall.
