On Thursday of this week a major quake will hit the Comox Valley but it won’t be the real thing. The Comox Valley Emergency Program is testing their response to a major disaster, along with local governments.
Mike Fornier is the Coordinator of the Comox Valley Emergency Program, and we asked him just how prepared are our local municipal officials in the event of a huge disaster.
Fornier says quite a few local government reps are on board the exercise.
The so called Functional Exercise goes Thursday afternoon.
