A rally has been held in downtown Courtenay in support of Marigold Pharmacy, this after an investigation by the College of Pharmacists revealed so called serious concerns with the pharmacy, including unclean operations, and subsequently shut it down. Pharmacy spokesperson Michael Harrison was at the rally and is thrilled with the turnout.
So just what is it about this pharmacy that has drawn such a strong community response in support of their services?
Harrison also says response to the newly created Save Marigold Society campaign has been overwhelming.
