Campbell River Resident Receives Medal of Good Citizenship

A local man’s 40 years of service to the community has garnered the province’s attention.

Danny Brown has been awarded the Medal Of Good Citizenship, making him the first man from Campbell River to receive the high honour.

While he acknowledges that the award is important, he says he’s “accepting this medal of Good Citizenship on their [the city and its residents] behalf.”

Brown is involved in several community initiatives, including volunteering at the Campbell River Museum and giving boat tours of the Discovery Islands.
