Two males have been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred in Courtenay on Friday afternoon, March 24th.
Constable Rob Gardner says the incident happened somewhere on the 1600 block of Piercy Avenue.
He notes a 31-year-old male was sent to hospital with gunshot wounds. The male was then flown to a larger hospital, and his current condition is not available at this time.
“The investigation continues throughout the weekend…”, says Gardner. He notes that one arrest was made late this morning, and both males are currently in custody.
