Burn permits are now available courtesy of the Oyster River Fire Department.
Deputy Chief Chris Murray says the free permits will be available for residents on Tuesday nights for the next couple of months. “…you need a permit for any fire over 50 centimeters”, he says.
You can pick up your burn permit from 5 to 6:00 PM at the Oyster River Fire Hall (2241 Catherwood Road, Black Creek) on Tuesday nights. Contact the department for further details.
