BC Votes 2017

The numbers are coming through in the 2017 BC Election.

In the riding of Courtenay-Comox, Ronna-Rae Leonard of the BC NDP with 9758 votes (37.35%), Jim Benninger of the BC Liberals at 9605 votes (36.76%).

Ernie Sellentin of the BC Greens at 4757 (18.21%), and Leah McCulloch of the BC Conservatives at 2006 votes (7.68%).

90 of 91 ballot boxes have been reported.

Meanwhile – in the Mid-Island-Pacific Rim riding; Scott Fraser of the BC NDP has won the riding at 11,662 votes. That’s 48.75% of the vote.

Provincially, the Liberals at 43 seats, NDP at 41 seats, and the Green Party is at 3 seats.

BC Liberal leader Christy Clark has won her riding of Kelowna West and BC NDP leader John Horgan has won his home riding of Langford-Juan De Fuca.
