Full recovery for Puntledge River system courtesy of Mother Nature

What a difference a couple of days makes, for BC Hydro operations along the Puntledge River. Utility spokesperson Stephen Watson says the biggest storm event in just over a year, has the hydro-electric operation going full tilt.

Watson says it is either feast, or famine when it comes to the wet stuff in the valley this season, but the early start to the storm season is very much welcome.

Watson says with hydro officials releasing much more water downstream this week, residents are urged to stay clear of the Puntledge River with powerful fast moving river flows expected.
