Report: Soldier in Ottawa shooting has died

We continue to get details about the trio of shootings that happened in Ottawa this morning, one at the War Memorial, another inside the Parliament building, and yet another near the Rideau Center Mall.

MP Jason Kenney has tweeted that the soldier shot at the War Memorial has died.  This has not been confirmed by official sources in Ottawa. Three people are in Ottawa Hospital. The hospital has confirmed that two of the three victims are in stable condition.  They are not confirming the condition of the soldier and are refferring the media tho the Department of Defence.  The soldier who was shot at Ottawa’s War Memorial is a reservist serving with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.

NORAD has increased the number of planes on high alert status in case they are needed in the area of Parliament Hill.
