The Comox Valley RCMP Detachment was evacuated for about twenty minutes after somebody emptied out some acid into the urinals. We spoke with Courtenay Fire Chief Don Bardonnex about this bizarre incident this afternoon.
Fortunately nobody inhaled the noxious vapours, and the RCMP detachment is back to full operation this hour.
