Nice turnout for blood drive, but donations still down

Plenty of people came out to the K’omoks Band Hall on the dyke road this week, for a three day blood drive put on by the North Island mobile clinic.IMG_20141106_124252

Goat news was at the clinic on Thursday which was the final day of the drive, and touched base with clinic supervisor Jacqueline Swanson.

Despite the nice turnout, Swanson did mention that overall North Island donations have been down a bit recently.

The mobile clinic will be back in roughly 4 weeks if you didn’t get a chance to donate this time, or would like to donate again.

You can check out blood.ca for more information.
