Huge turnout today for Courtenay Remembrance Day Ceremony

Under clear blue skies, with a bit of a chill in the air, a massive crowd gathered in downtown Courtenay today for the local Remembrance Day Ceremony.

RCMP were out in full force for the ceremony with heightened security measures, including a few members stationed on the roof of the Courtenay Museum. Big crowds also turned out for Remembrance Day ceremonies in Comox and Cumberland.
