Some major kudos now for the group spearheading the North Island Hospitals Project, in Campbell River and the Comox Valley.
We spoke to project manager Tom Sparrow on the team scoring a silver medal in a competition featuring environmentally friendly public-private partnerships.
Meanwhile Sparrow says initial construction on new state of the art hospitals for Campbell River, and the Comox Valley continues on schedule. The combined total value of the two projects sits at over 600-million dollars.
