St. John Ambulance First Aid Challenge a success

Well judging by the performance of our own Jet FM team at the St. John Ambulance A-J Taylor First Aid Challenge over the weekend in Courtenay, it is probably a good idea we just stick to our radio gigs. Jet
News spoke with Ben Douglas, the Vancouver Island Area Commissioner for St.John Ambulance on the value of the regional competition for the young participants.

Jet News also touched base with a few of those competing in the challenge.

The St.John Ambulance first aid challenge, held at Mark Isfeld Secondary School, involved various simulated emergency medical scenarios, complete with blood and gore to give it a realistic appearance.
