Victim in hit and run well loved, gifted teacher

The victim in that late Monday night hit and run in Fanny Bay has been identified as Paul Bally, who taught at Lake Trail School in Courtenay for 17 years.

The 48 year old Bally was cycling along Highway 19A near Curran Road when he was hit by southbound vehicle just before midnight Monday night.
