Comox Valley RCMP arrest Saanich fugitive in Courtenay

The Comox Valley RCMP have apprehended a Saanich fugitive. Michael Godolphin was arrested without incident Thursday and is set to appear in court on Friday, October 27th.

The 37-year-old faces a number of criminal code offences in connection to robberies in Saanich earlier this month and additional offences that happened in Courtenay on Thursday.

Godolphin has previous criminal charges against him, including assault with a weapon. He was considered armed and dangerous. He was charged recently for possession of stolen property under $5,000 on October 18th. In September of last year, he was charged for assault with a weapon and for possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, as well as possession of controlled substances.
