No Business License for Leaf Compassion Dispensary

Courtenay Council has said “NO” to giving the Leaf Compassion Cannabis Dispensary a business license.

Council voted 4-1 to confirm the denial of giving the store-front a license. Mayor Larry Jangula and Councillor Erik Eriksson were absent for the meeting. Councillor David Frisch served as Acting Mayor.

Leaf Compassion has been raided twice by Comox Valley RCMP since opening for business on October 1st.

GOAT News has reached out to Courtenay Council and the owner of Leaf Compassion for further comments.
