GoFundMe Campaign Started for BCHL Team

The community has come together to support the Powell River Kings. The BCHL team’s bus broke down on its way to Wenatchee last month. In the latest update, the team learned that the bus’ engine had seized, and a new bus MUST be purchased.

Powell River’s Nadine Ferguson Porchetta has started a GoFundMe page in support of the team, with the goal of purchasing a new bus. Since the bus broke down, the squad’s been renting a charter bus for their road games, raising their travel expenses.

The Powell River Kings are currently ranked first in the Island Division with a record of 12-4-1-1 (26 points). Their next game is on Friday, November 10th in Nanaimo.
