UN votes down US declaration of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital

NEW YORK, NY- The U-N General Assembly has voted down the U-S’s declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. 

The vote of 128 to nine marks the declaration as null and void. 

Canada was one of 35 countries that abstained from the controversial vote. 

U-S President Donald Trump has threatened to punish countries that oppose him.
