Sweeping sailing cuts on the way in Comox Valley

BC Ferries officials have nailed down dozens of ferry sailing cuts around the coast, set to kick in at the end of the month, and local Ferry Advisory Committee Chair Tony Law, representing Denman and Hornby Islanders, has weighed in with his take on the pending service curtailment.

Meanwhile Law says BC Ferries did come through, albeit in the last minute, in saving a late night Friday sailing from Denman to Hornby Island…

The cuts to BC Ferries sailings are geared towards saving about 14-million dollars.
