Salvation Army zeroes in on fundraising goal

You might recall the good folks over at the local Comox Valley Salvation Army, earlier sent out an urgent appeal for more donations to top up their Christmas season fundraising campaign.

Well it looks like in the end, valley residents came through in helping them pretty much reach their fiscal goals!

Goat News spoke with Salvation Army spokesperson Brent Hobden…

Hobden says they are still tallying up the donations and hope to reach their fundraising goal of 294-thousand dollars. All funds raised in the holiday season campaign, fund various Salvation Army initiatives for the entire year.
