Christmas tree chippings…a great success!

This weekend, the Comox & Courtenay Fire Departments braved the rough weather conditions for a good cause. It was their annual Christmas tree chippings for YANA. The local charity provides accommodation for families bringing their sick kids to BC Children’s Hospital. Here’s Laura Thede from the Courtenay Fire Department.

A handful of firefighters got in on the action, according to Comox Fire Chief Gord Schreiner.
