Salish Raven back in service after mechanical issue

COMOX, B.C.- The Salish Raven, which serves the Comox to Powell River ferry route, was delayed this morning by 26 minutes.

The vessel was held in dock at Comox’s Little River terminal after suffering a mechanical issue.

An advisory from the company, issued shortly before 10:00 a.m., stated that the vessel experienced a hydraulic issue with the lower car deck hatches and barrier.

“We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of this delay,” read an updated statement from BC Ferries.
