Guerrilla Food Company closing down

COURTENAY, B.C- A local business in the Comox Valley appears to be set to close their doors in the near future.

According to a statement posted to the Facebook page of The Guerrilla Food Company, the food business will be shutting down after sometime in mid-April.

The company had been in operation for the past four and a half years, and the statement indicates they’re now planning to dismantle their kitchen.

However, the statement also indicates that the business has a full inventory to sell.

“We won’t be making any more and only what is left in our freezers is available,” read the post.

“So, if you want to stuff your freezer or are gonna miss our food and service, we urge you to come see us before your favourites are gone, before they’re gone for good.”

As for the exact reason behind the shut down, it remains unclear. The statement ends by hinting at more plans to come from the company’s owner.

More information will be added to this story as it becomes available.
