Wind warning issued for eastern Vancouver Island

Story by Patrick Grapes, 2Day FM Campbell River

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C.-A wind warning is in effect. The warning is for the east coast of Vancouver Island from Campbell River down to Nanoose Bay.

A Pacific weather system will spread the strong winds starting tomorrow morning. Environment Canada says you can expect gusts of up to 90 km/h in exposed, coastal areas. The winds will ease up later in the afternoon as the system moves further inland.
