Sid Williams Theatre ticket centre closed until Friday

COURTENAY, B.C. – Those looking to purchase tickets for a show at the Sid Williams Theatre will have to wait a few days.

Due to a critical hardware failure, the theatre’s ticketing system has been shut down.

According to a notice from the downtown Courtenay arts centre, the necessary equipment has been replaced, and work is being done to restore the system operations.

The theatre said that all data has been secured.

In addition to the ticket centre closure, all online sales are unavailable until Friday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m.

The theatre advised anyone that purchased tickets on Saturday, April 21 and paid using debit or cash to contact the theatre at (250) 338-2430 ext. 1, and leave a message with their name and contact information. For more details, visit the theatre’s Facebook page.
