20th Street going down to single lane tomorrow

COURTENAY, B.C- A road in Courtenay will have traffic reductions this week.

According to a notice from Courtenay’s municipal government, 20th Street from Cousins Avenue to Cumberland Road will be going down to single-lane alternating traffic on Tuesday and Thursday of this week, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day.

The restrictions are due to site servicing work being done by Leighton Contracting, for a nearby development.

“Traffic Control Personnel will be on site to assist commuters and emergency vehicles,” read the release.
