Royston gas station reopening as a Gas n Go

ROYSTON, B.C.-Residents of Royston will soon have easy access to gasoline again.

The old Esso station on Highway 19A near Royston Road is going to be reopened as a Gas n Go. Gasoline hasn’t been sold there for more than a year now.

The property is now owned by Wayne Procter, who also owns the three other Gas n Go’s in the valley.

In an interview with 98.9 The Goat today Procter said workers are in the process of cleaning up the old building. That includes a paint job, some new windows, and some new flooring.

Procter says he was motivated to open the gas station because he believes it’s in a good location and gives the community access to something it currently doesn’t have. He added he’s looking forward to serving the community and expects the Gas n Go to be open with two weeks.
