Line painting begins on Courtenay roads Tuesday

COURTENAY, B.C. – Roads in the City of Courtenay will have a fresh new look after this week.

Crews will be on hand to paint fresh new lines on all roads in Courtenay starting Tuesday, May 22. The work will take place overnight from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. to minimize traffic impacts.

No road closures are expected, according to a notice from the City.

Drivers on the roads during the work are asked to slow down around the affected areas.

“Thank you for your patience and understanding while line painting work is being completed,” the City said on its website.

The work is scheduled to last through to Friday, May 25.
