Portion of Highway 19A to be reduced to single-lane traffic Wednesday

COURTENAY, B.C. – Drivers are being advised of a lane closure along Highway 19A this Wednesday, May 23.

Highway 19A southbound from Anfield Road to Monaltrie Road (City of Courtenay limits) will go down to single lane alternating traffic from 9:30 a.m. to around 3:00 p.m. for grinding and paving work.

Traffic control personnel will be on site to direct emergency vehicles and commuters in and around the work area.

The City said drivers should prepare for minor delays while the work is underway.
