Wildfire reported north of dam

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C- Another wildfire has been located in the North Island region.

The fire is burning near the Strathcona Dam, west of Campbell River.

According the BC Wildfire Service, the fire is 0.01 hectares in size and it’s status of control is “new”.

The Coastal Fire Service was unable to provide any information about the fire, but we will update as information becomes available.
