Amber Alert cancelled

B.C. Mounties have just cancelled an Amber Alert after earlier sounding the alarm on the safety of two young sisters allegedly abducted by their mother in Alberta and believed to be in British Columbia.
Police say 48 year old Trina Meisel was spotted in Golden, B.C. near the Alberta border.

An Amber Alert was issued in B.C. and Alberta earlier today in the hunt for Talisha and Taya Meisel, ages six and 12.

No word from police right now on the whereabouts of the girls or their mother but Jet News can confirm the Amber Alert is now lifted tonight.
